Health Communications, Inc., a publisher of best-selling books and a leading magazine for addiction professionals, and U.S. Journal Training, Inc., a provider of continuing education conferences and online courses for addiction and mental health professionals, seek an in-house Advertising Sales Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and drive sponsorship and exhibit sales for our training conferences, as well as marketing and advertising sales for our bimonthly print and online magazine read by counselors, social workers and others working in the addiction and mental health field.
If you have a successful track record selling space advertising in magazines, print or other media, and experience promoting events on the Internet, we would like to speak to you.

This position requires determination, energy, creativity and a willingness to jump into a "hands on" position as an integral member of an organizational team, including the magazine's editor.

The candidate should have at least three years proven ad sales experience, excellent writing, computer and interpersonal skills and a college degree. Candidates with experience and understanding of health, mental health and addictions recovery market will be preferred. The candidate also should be willing to work out of the company headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Fla., and be available for occasional travel to various trade shows, conferences and training events.
